Dr. Acuña has been awarded a FONDECYT Initiation Grant (No. 11260506) for the project “A Data-Driven Mathematical Framework to Reduce Non-Prioritized Elective Surgery Waiting Lists in Chile,” to be conducted at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez from 2026 to 2029.
